Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Wilkes-Barre will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Pennsylvania usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Wilkes-Barre is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Wilkes-Barre is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We found this place via google search when passing through the area. It was a great stop for lunch. The facility is large with two sides. One is for 21+ (at all times) and the other is a more restaurant focused. Service was good, meals were delicious and the menu offered great options and cocktails were great. Would stop here again. It was quiet when we stopped but I'd imagine it gets quite busy during college season.

We actually went into Rodano's because we had a baby with us and couldn't be in the bar. It's a large place with lots of seating. We had to wait a bit for the waitress, I guess they were a little soirt handed. We ordered a jumbo pretzel as an appetizer, but didn't get it until they brought the food. We barely saw the waitress during our time there. We had to ask for refills a couple of times. The food was good, but the salad was like a side salad and cost $13! They charged $1.50 for a side of ranch, a little much in my opinion. It ended up costing $100 (including tip) for 2 wraps, a salad and a small pizza and jumbo pretzel. I would say this place is overpriced for what we got. The sweet potato fries were overcooked and burnt. Don't know that I would come again.

My friend and I stopped here for a bite to eat before going to the FM Kirby Station and everything was good, the food, the drinks and the atmosphere. Will definitely go back again if I'm ever in the area.

I ordered the corn chowder and Mediterranean Flatbread. My husband ordered the Italian Suboli. Service was fast and the food was good. The bartender was super nice, we would definitely come back when we are in the area.

Good wing night, they do charge for blue cheese. Just wish they had more than one bartender considering the big bar they have
